Some cats are very stately and ornamental stretching out across the floor. While others are always in your lap or in your bed never wanting to be alone. They have been describbed as having "dog like" features. For instance meeting you at the door when you get home, playing fetch, and coming when called.

A male can weigh anywhere from twelve to eighteen pounds and the female ten to fourteen pounds. They mature slowly, usually taking three to four years to reach maturity.
